Singapore Volunteer Management Conference 2025

The Singapore Volunteer Management Conference (SVMC) is a biennial event aimed at strengthening volunteerism through building stronger Volunteer Management (VM) capabilities. It brings together leaders from various sectors, including Social Service Agencies (SSAs), non-profit organisations from other sectors (health, sport, art, environment), public agencies, and corporates – to share best volunteer practices to achieve greater impact.
The theme of SVMC 2025 will be "Taking Singapore Forward Through Volunteerism". This conference aims to highlight the best volunteer practices and the transformative impact that volunteering has on individuals and society, and inspire participants to play their part in taking Singapore and Singaporeans forward. Through building of stronger volunteer management capabilities to catalyse more sustained volunteerism, service delivery to citizens (especially those in need) can be enhanced.
Key discussion topics would include how effective volunteer management practices such as volunteer recruitment, retention, volunteer partnerships, designing meaningful volunteer roles and volunteer impact measurement that are integral to service delivery would drive stronger and sustained volunteerism to achieve better service delivery and optimise impact from the community. Through the panel discussions and practice seminars, the conference seeks to inspire greater action in strengthening the volunteer ecosystem in Singapore.
