Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is SG60?
SG60 is a nationwide effort to celebrate the next chapter of our nation-building journey. Over the past 60 years, Singapore has survived and prospered against the odds. Our diamond jubilee is an opportune time to reflect on our journey as a nation and rally Singaporeans to contribute to our shared future.
Following from the Forward SG exercise, this is also an opportunity for us to redefine our social compact by reaffirming the shared commitment Singaporeans have to each other and the nation, and to build a stronger society that we are proud to call home.
2. How long will the celebrations last?
The SG60 commemoration will last from January to December 2025, with a variety of exciting and meaningful events being held nationwide across various sectors and catering to everyone. SG60 will kick off with One Countdown 2025, held on 31 December 2024.
3. How do I use the SG60 logo?
You do not need to seek approval to use the SG60 logo. It should be used in a respectful and appropriate manner to celebrate Singapore’s 60th year of independence.
